A Bright Bouncing Boy is a Stranger Mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2). Stranger Missions are the equivalent of Side Quests, and they unlock as you progress the Story Missions.

A Bright Bouncing Boy Walkthrough

This mission is available during daytime. Head to the pond of the park located southwest of Saint Denis and a cutscene will begin. You will now have control of the submarine and are tasked to destroy the ships while avoiding the mines, then return it to the dock.

 

Part II

Wait for a day (24 hours in game) and visit Marko Dragic in the northeast corner of the map during nighttime. He gives you three metal rods for lighting conductors and a detector to find the electrostatic fields. One is in front of your starting point, second is up the hill northwest of the first one and third is east of the second.

After placing all three rods, return back to Marko. He asks you to climb on top of the tower and flip the following switches: the first and third switches then the second switch.

 

Part III

After 2 days from part II, head to Marko and pick up the electric lantern on the ground which will go in your inventory.
