Abigail Marston approaches Arthur Morgan (you) at the camp to inform him that Hosea Matthews was looking for him with John Marston out by the moonshine stash. Get on your horse and meet them at the Hosea area of interest, just north of the camp.

Authorized Reseller

When you reach them, Hosea tells you of his plan to sell the moonshine back to the Braithwaites, the people you stole it from, as he can't find anyone else to buy it. Drive the moonshine wagon to the Braithwaite Manor, and once you arrive, Hosea will speak to the guards and they'll let you proceed in. Upon reaching the doors of the manor, Catherine Braithwaite will emerge. Hosea manages to sell the moonshine back to her but you're then told to take all the moonshine she just bought and give it out for free at the Rhodes Saloon.

Drive the wagon to the Saloon and on your way, Hosea will tell you he's finally managed to sell the bonds from the train robbery and that Cornwall has been funding the Pinkertons. He also mentions that your associations with the sheriff may make giving out the moonshine a bit complicated, so you play the part of his brother turned idiot and get a hat and a pipe in the process. When you arrive, he pays the guards of the Saloon off so you may enter and give out the free samples.

Open Bar

When you enter, Hosea explains to everyone at the bar that the drinks are free and they all celebrate while you take the position of the bartender. You'll have to pour them drinks a few times, following the indicators on the screen. Keep doing it, jumping in between pouring and cutscenes of everyone at the Saloon getting progressively drunker.

Eventually a few Lemoyne Raiders will burst in claiming you stole their moonshine, and a gunfight ensues. Take them on and you'll hear Hosea call for your help, so get upstairs to help him before one of the Raiders throws him off the second floor. Once you save him, he'll run towards the door upstairs where two more Raiders will be. Kill them and then Hosea will get tackled off the balcony and onto the wagon. He kills the man then tells you to get on. Jump onto the wagon and provide cover fire on your way out as he drives you to safety.

When you stop, you wonder if you were set up by Mrs. Braithwaite so Hosea goes to pay her a visit to see what's what. As for you, you return to camp where you find Dutch Van Der Linde and Micah Bell talking about robbing both the Braithwaites and the Grays. Dutch then reveals his underlying intentions to go through with the plan and the mission ends.
