Bill Williamson is a Central Character in Red Dead Redemption 2.
General Information
Bill Williamson is a hot-headed maniac, and is one of Dutch Van Der Linde's main men. Some would describe him as a maniac, others may say he's dedicated. No matter the occasion, time, or place, Williamson is always ready to get his hands dirty and will not shy away from a fight.
Early Life
Born in 1866, Bill was believed to have been in the army in some capacity. After being discharged by the army, his ill-temper and rashness pushed him to join the Van Der Linde Gang, where he could be his own twisted-self.
1899-1911: Red Dead Redemption 2
As part of the gang, Bill will surely play a central role in all the poor decisions and misdeeds they partake in.
Death/Post
Bill is one of the people that left John Marston to die in 1906, kicking off the events of the first Red Dead Redemption. In hindsight he probably wishes he had made sure of his death as John returns on a mission to track and bring him to justice, dead or alive. Edgar Ross blackmails John into doing so; the reputation he built for himself between the botched bank heist and 1911, led to him being regarded as the worst bandit in the country by some, and feared and respected by his fellow outlaws. This rise in notoriety allowed him to form his own gang, that is confronted by John on several occasions.
On the final occurrence, he is killed by John in one of two ways -depending on who you ask. After John finds him hiding out with former gang affiliate Javier Escuella, John is faced with killing him on the spot or bringing him in alive. Either way, he is killed there and then.
