Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern Walkthrough

Oh Jack

Arthur Morgan (you) heads to Dutch Van Der Linde's tent to find the rest of the gang surrounding it. They're all looking for Jack Marston as he's gone missing. His mother, Abigail Marston, emerges to plea with Dutch to bring him back. After a galvanizing speech, Dutch leads yourself, John Martston , Hosea Matthews, Javier Escuella, Bill Williamson, Charles Smith, and Lenny Summers to the Braithwaite Manor, after surmising that they must've found out what had happened and taken him as a way to seek revenge.

As you ride out, Dutch continues to vow to bring him back and calm John. They also discuss the failures that have brought about this unfortunate series of events before arriving at Braithwaite Manor.

Storm the House

As you arrive at the entrance gates you continue on-foot in an epic walk to the front door as a group, reminiscent to that of a classic western movie, and stop upon reaching the Manor, as Braithwaites take a defensive position. Dutch tries to reason with the Braithwaites to let Jack go, and to let them settle this separately, but they don't budge and instead prepare to open up fire. Open fire and let loose. Kill everyone from outside until you're instructed to enter the premises with Dutch.

When you enter, clear the bottom floor while they check the top, there will be a few Braithwaites to deal with down here so a shotgun could be very useful. Once everybody downstairs is dead, head up to look for Jack with the rest of them. You'll find Dutch struggling to get a room open but will have to put the rescue plan for Jack on hold as more Braithwaites begin to arrive at the Manor. Head onto the balcony and fight them off from the front, then from the right. Once they're all dead, a weapon icon will pop up on the very left of the balcony (facing out). Pick up this variation of the Bolt Action Rifle.

Down to Business

You see Dutch and Hosea still held up at the door, and go around to the doors on the balcony that John is trying to open. Help him by standing next to him and pushing the doors. When you do, the cabinet in the way will fall over, allowing you to open the door. You find Gerald and Gareth Braithwaite, and subsequently kill them. Dutch and Hosea are finally able to burst in and find Catherine Braithwaite hiding in the closet.

Dutch drags her out and questions her but she won't budge, so he tells everyone to burn the whole place down because Jack clearly isn't here and drags Mrs. Braithwaite out with him. When they reach the outside, she finally lets up and tells them that Angelo Bronte has taken him and that they'd either be in Saint Denis or on a boat to Italy. You all leave with this valuable information, and head back to camp. The battle of Shady Belle immediately commences straight after.
