Bounties are special type of collectible in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2). These quests are started at the Sheriff Office of the major towns in game: Valentine, Rhodes, Saint Denis, Strawberry, Blackwater and Tumbleweed.

How to find bounties
As you complete Story Missions, you'll unlock bounties and they will be marked on your map when you enter a town. Go to the Sheriff's Office in said town and interact with the "Wanted" poster to initiate the bounty quest. Each quest will mark your map with a general location of where the wanted person is.
How to complete Bounties
Find the criminal within the search area marked by the quest, and use your Lasso to catch and tie them up. You can then bring your captive to the Sheriff's Office, and obtain rewards.
You may use the Horse's Auto-Travel option to get to the quest search area and back to town.
