It's about the Journey
After returning from the Who the Hell is Leviticus Cornwall? mission, Arthur Morgan (you) asks Dutch Van Der Linde what the plan is, and Hosea Matthews mention going to a place called Horseshoe Outlook, just outside of Valentine. Everyone packs up and heads out, and it cuts to a beautiful cinematic of the snowy landscape as it follows the gang's journey into warmer lands. Dutch tells Micah Bell and Lenny Summers to go scout ahead. The cinematic ends when the camera pans to you driving a carriage with Hosea sat next to you. After crossing a stream, the wheel brakes and it's up to you to fix it while Hosea and Charles Smith help. When you're done, the three of you notice three American Indians above on a cliff. Not wanting to test your luck, Hosea suggests you leave as soon as possible.
You continue on the carriage, talking at length about Charles' past, Hosea's skepticism of Dutch, a small glimpse into a possible conflict between John and Arthur, and a bit of insight into the nearby town of the new camp.
Horseshoe Outlook
You arrive at the camp with everybody already there, and the entire place already set up. Dutch calls everyone over upon your arrival, and he let's everyone know they have to contribute to the camp by getting legitimate jobs. Hosea stresses the importance of keeping off the radar, and Parsons mentions the need for daily food. Once the meeting is over, you are walked to your new quarters.
After this a title appears showing the beginning of Chapter 2, and is shortly followed by a "A few weeks later". This is then followed by a few panoramic shots of the area, with Arthur narrating over his journal entry.
