Exotics in RDR2
Finding Exotics
Simply travel to the locations below to uncover each point. However, orchids spawn in a fixed location while birds spawn randomly in the red area guide region.
(This image is where we found the birds but the spawn for another day was different.)

I'm on the second to last request, and all circles have been very accurate so far. Very nicely put together guide, thank you.

Upon further review: Anonymous would like to retract the last comment--sort of. Those orchids do exist but are considerably far away from where the small circles specifically designate. I couldn't see any glowing plant from where the circles indicated, proving frustrating when the orchid are just out of eagle vision range.
I had to use a video guide to find out where.

It feels like half of these circles are highlighting nothing all, wasting our time. Take Lady Slipper Orchids: the four between "Big Valley" and "Strawberry" on the map do not exist, and the one in the right hand corner also does not exist. Half of a useful guide is a mostly useless guide.

These all locations are so unaccurate! Try to do better next time. Gave me absolutely no help.

Certain exotics like plumes and orchids cannot be sold after the exotics quest, so they just stay stuck in your inventory building up as you pick more. plumes can be discarded but orchids can't

Don’t waste your time. About half of the orchid locations are inaccurate or non existent. You’re better off praying you find them yourself.
