Jim Milton Rides, Again? Walkthrough

Family Man

John Marston (you) approaches David Geddes by the stables. He tells you of his concerns about the Laramie Boys and you tell him that you'll help protect the place before heading back to your cabin. Inside you'll find Abigail Marston and Jack Marston. Abigail will ask you how it went before serving everyone food. You'll share a family meal, both your son and yourself showing clear dissatisfaction for the cooking. After a long meal, you all head to bed.

You're awaken by a loud gunshot, followed by more. You head out, as this is your element, to investigate whats going on.

Inner Van Der Linde

You leave your cabin to find an array of fires around the ranch. Abe appears in the middle, leading you to Mr. Dikens, who is being beat up at the barn. When you reach the barn, you'll have to fight off the two Laramies. Once you knock them both out, Mr. *****ens will thank you for your help and Mr. Geddes will appear too. He'll tell you that the cattle was stolen and will ask for your help to recuperate it, in exchange to completely neglect your past. So you return to your cabin to take out your weapons cache -with a bit of objection from the missus, of course- and lead the way to Hanging Dog Ranch with Abe and Mr. Dikens.

Once you reach the area of interest, you'll stake out the place with your binoculars then continue on foot. You give them instructions, while you proceed from the middle. Walk over to them and you'll begin to yell. Once you reach the first two Laramies, the gunfight will ensue. Take out all of the Laramie Boys ahead. There should be a couple dozen, but taking proceeding forward slowly and taking them out as you go, should make this a lot easier.

Once you kill them all, you'll hear a voice cussing you from within the barn. Enter and search for the same Laramie you beat up earlier. Beat him up until he falls over and starts talking more smack. He tries to shoot you but you kick his gun away. Then when he continues talking more smack, you pick up his gun and are given the option to shoot him (shoot him, he needs to die).

Bittersweet

Once you kill him, ride back to Pronghorn Ranch. You receive a hero's welcome by Abe, Mr. Dikens, and Mr. Geddes, who are very thankful for your help. However when you had back home, Abigail awaits with her judgemental eyes. When you try to reason with her, she goes to bed. It cuts you you working out at the barn the next day, to end the mission.
