Melee weapons are a weapon category in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2). These are all the weapons that can give you an edge in hand-to-hand combat.
Melee weapons are a selection of different weapons that can be used to perform critical damage in very close encounters. The lethality/effectiveness/range varies depending on each melee weapon specifically, and just like any other weapon, they need to be maintained and cleaned to stay in peak condition.
Picking the Correct Melee
Melee weapons are based off of three factors; Damage, Range, and Speed. This is how much damage they inflict per swing, how long the range is relative to other melee weapons, and how quickly can players swing their weapon, respectively. Depending on the situation or style of gameplay, players can choose a melee weapon most suitable for them.
