Old Friends Walkthrough

Rustle

As you enter the room, a few of the gang is sitting inside joking about. Notably, Micah Bell is made fun of by the rest of his peers and punches Bill Williamson in the face. Before he can retaliate, the rest of the guys detain him and Dutch Van Der Linde enters the room to break up the confrontation and, propose a hit on the O'Driscoll Gang. The men in the cabin spring into action and set out on horseback. Follow Dutch and as you ride, the two of you have an exchange about the situation and the leader of the O'Driscoll Gang, Colm O'Driscoll.

Move in

Eventually, after seeing a smoke emerging from the other side of a hill, Dutch devises a plan to split up the gang up; Him and Arthur Morgan (you), Bill and Micah, and Javier Escuella and Lenny Summers, all pair up and split. Head up to where Dutch is to use your Binoculars to scope out what's beneath. After you identify what you need to, head back down to your horse to arm yourself up with your weapon, then rejoin Dutch and follow him through the snow. As you speak and may your way, you'll soon arrive at a rocky slope and descend it. Follow Dutch into the settlement, underneath one of the structures to link up with the rest of your gang mates. Now the call is up to you.

Light Em' Up

If you choose to engage, you will have a standoff against them. Take out the initial wave, and you'll be notified when it's over when Dutch tells you to loot the bodies. Do so until you're told once again that more the O'Driscolls are entering. This second wave will force you to deal with roughly the same amount of enemies as with the first. After defeating the second wave, the remaining enemies will flee. You may loot the bodies for extra pick ups. Once you're done, report back to Dutch and he'll send everyone to find explosives and detonators, and will send you into one of the buildings to check them. Inside you'll find the dynamite, but you'll also find:

Once you find the dynamite, you hand it over to Bill and he takes it to Dutch. Micah also finds the O'Driscolls' plans of robbing Leviticus Cornwall. Dutch takes them, and you all ride off together. Eventually, you'll reach a stream where Dutch will point out a man who appears to be the same man speaking to the O'Driscoll leader when you were checking with your binoculars. You're instructed to chase him down and bring him to camp, so give chase and as soon as you get close to him, go into your weapon wheel and select the Lasso. Use it to subdue him and once you've got him, dismount your horse and hogtie him. Put him on the back of your horse and ride back to camp, following the trail on the map. Along the way, you learn that the person you have hogtied to the back of your horse is called Kieran Duffy.

Back at Camp

Upon arriving at camp, hitch your stead with the rest of the horses and grab Kieran off the back of your horse. Carry him over to the house and Dutch will come out to threaten him before a few other gang members come to take him away. The mission ends with Arthur heading into his room for the night.
