The King's Son Walkthrough

To Fort Wallace

Following the event that took place in Favored Sons, Arthur Morgan (you) heads to Wapiti Indian Reserve - approach Charles Smith and he will tell you to talk to Rains Fall. Head to Rains Fall's tent to start the mission where the two will discuss on the fate of Eagle Flies and the relationship between the Native Americans versus the army. The cutscene ends where Arthur offers to rescue Eagle Flies and leaves with Charles, make sure you are fully equipped with silent weapons such as bows, knives and a dynamite as you will be needing this later on.

Progress through the mission as you follow Charles to Fort Wallace - listen on his plan and continue on horseback. Once you've reached the location, unmount your horse with Charles to trigger a cutscene.

As night falls, follow Charles and equip your bow or knife as you begin the infiltration - kill the guards at the entrance and make your way to the back of the fort. Once you've made your way around the perimeter, two more guards will appear by the tower, remember to use a silent weapon before taking out the enemies. After killing them, follow Charles as the two make their way inside the fort.

Rescue Eagle Flies

After the short cutscene, you will find yourself positioned inside the fort - keep in mind that this is a stealth mission and one mistake results in failing the mission. Now, take your time and listen to Charles as he will mention if there is a soldier nearby. He will also tell you to either use your bow or knife to kill them.

Once you've made your way through the tower, Charles will prompt you to create a distraction -  climb up the nearest tower, take out the guard on top, equip your bow and shoot down the lantern above the stack of wood to start a fire.

After causing the distraction, head back down to Charles and make your way to Eagle Flies' cell - loot the body Charles's killed for the key and unlock the door. A cutscene starts where Arthur rescues Eagle Flies who has been brutally tortured and prepares to escape the fort.

In order for the three to escape, shoot your way through the guards and follow Eagle Flies to a barricaded wall. Charles will then prompt Arthur to take care of it - you can either (1) use a dynamite and throw it against the wall or (2) use a nearby cannon to destroy it. Now, make your way outside, mount your horse and follow Charles. Keep an eye on your mini-map since enemies will start to pursue you, eliminate the enemies as you make your way to the canoes.

Continue down the path as you will need to fend off some enemies while Charles prepares the canoe - listen to him as he tells Arthur to get in once it's ready. Follow the two and row away from the island as more pursuers show up, you can either (1) evade them and continue to row across the river or (2) simultaneously shoot down the enemies and row the canoe at the same time.

Once you're near the destination, you will find two guards onshore. Charles will prompt you to aim only at the men as you will need the horses to escape. After you've docked the canoe by the shore, a cutscene triggers with the three managing to escape and Charles riding off with Eagle Flies back to Rains Fall. Arthur, on the other hand, stays behind and looks to be troubled with his condition - this marks the end of the mission.
