The Wheel is a Story Mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2). This is one of the "Main Quests" of the game and players must complete it to advance the Story. Completing Story Missions opens up Stranger Missions as well as additional content throughout the game.

Family Matters
A title card reads "Some years later" then shows Jack Marston (you), Abigail Marston, and Jack Marston are riding away in a wagon. Abigail and you argue about an event that just occurred, with Abigail trying to get you to stop his wild west ways, and they all head towards Strawberry.
When you arrive at the point of interest in Strawberry, get off and enter the store general store to look for a job. You introduce yourself as "Jim Milton" to the clerk and he offers you a job in transporting goods to Pronghorn Ranch. Once you've agreed the job, head over to the Doctor's Office to inform Abigail of your new job, while the store workers load up your wagon.
Once you've had the interaction with Abigail outside the Doctors', return to a fully-stocked wagon. Ride out to the point of interest on the map.
An Honest Living
Ride out all the way to the house where you meet Mr. *****ens instead of Mr. Geddes, the man you were supposed to deliver the goods to. He tells you he's his overseer so you ask for work from him. During your chat, two men appear and begin harassing Mr. *****ens and eventually steal the wagon of goods.
Mr. *****ens tells you to use the horse if you need to, so head over to it and give chase. Once you get close to the wagon, ride along it and jump onto it to retrieve it. Once you have, return to Pronghorn Ranch and you'll once again try to get a job from Mr. *****ens. After some convincing, he agrees to give you a shot. He also volunteers one of his men to go pick Abigail and Jack up from Strawberry, so you can stay and help defend against anymore men that emerge, and allows you to stay in a small cabin nearby.
This moves you to the next epilogue mission,
