Country Pursuits Walkthrough

Clash of the Titans

Arthur Morgan (you) walks into a discussion between Dutch Van Der Linde and Hosea Matthews about reacting to Angelo Bronte's betrayal. Hosea says you get the deciding vote, with him pushing to just flee and Dutch insisting to make him pay. You ultimately agree with Dutch but raise your concerns when the two of you leave camp to find someone that will help you to deal with Bronte. You two ride off to Lagras to find a man that can provide a boat for your swamp-side excursion into Angelo's house.

Gators in the Bayou

When you arrive at Lagras, you'll meet Thomas on the porch of his house. He'll ask you for help with collecting the crayfish from the crates in the swamp while his friend, Jules, comes back with the boat that Dutch requested. So follow his lead and check the crates for crayfish, marked by "X"s on the map.

You will all share conversation and will continue on, Thomas wondering where his friend is as you should've bumped into him by now. You'll eventually be told to split up and search the right, so proceed to the area of interest. Search the area and you'll soon find Jules hitched on top of a tree, claiming a giant alligator scared tipped him off his boat then points you in the direction of the boat, caught in a tree branch. You unblock it and call everyone over.

Once you get them all on board, you'll navigate out but the boat will get stuck once again, and Jules will be told to get the boat unstuck. He climbs off scared but goes over and uses a rope to pull on it. Once the boat is freed, he gets dragged under water and you're told to go help him. Track his location down using the areas and points of interest. Once you reach him, you'll strap him over your shoulder and get the both of you back on the boat.

Once on, Thomas will navigate you out but you'll encounter the giant Bullgator swimming towards the boat. Shoot it as many times as you can to scare it off. Once you do continue on the boat, keeping your eyes peeled. It will pop up a couple more times, during which you must do the same thing. Scare it off for good, then the boat will dock and Thomas's friends will help take care of Jules. He thanks you for your help then tells you to meet him back here when you're ready to take the boat to Bronte's house.
