Bare Knuckles Friendships Walkthrough

Finally Useful

John Marston (you) speaks to Uncle at the cabin on the ranch. You try to force him to do some form of work but he quickly tells you about Charles Smith's potential location in Saint Denis. So you both head out to look for him. A cutscene will shows you and Uncle alighting a train at Saint Denis. You emerge and decide to split up; you can either check the Saloon or the Fence.

If you head to the Saloon, the Bartender will tell you that you may be able to find a boxing Indian at a fighting ring. Head towards the area of interest to find Uncle already waiting there. You both head in and find him immediately. While you speak to him about events gone by, Uncle goes to socialize. Charles tells you he fights for dollars, as "The Lone Wolf", then places all his money on a bet on himself, then gets ready to fight. You can also then bet on Charles or against him. Either way, after you bet the fight begins.

Lone Wolf

Charles fights a Welshman and knocks him out. This starts a ruckus as Charles said he was going to throw the fight prior, and is told by the Bookie to lie low and you're both given your winnings. You all leave, and suggest Charles comes to stay with you at the Ranch, but Uncle decides to stay to place a few more bets. Follow Charles' lead to head over and pick his things up. You discuss the events of the end of Chapter 6 before you get there. You also learn that Leopold Strauss died in custody.

When you arrive at the docks (where Charles's bags are), you're approached by Guido Martelli's men and a gunfight ensues. They equip Mauser Pistols and can be looted for it. Get on the wagon that Charles will drive you out of Saint Denis to rendez-vous with Uncle. You will lose the wanted status by simply driving, so don't go looking for any Lawmen to kill.

It fades to black and you end up back at your ranch in Beecher's Hope.
