A Rage Unleashed Walkthrough

Head to Port Van Horn

To start this mission, head back to camp in Annesberg and talk to Reverend Swanson. A cutscene will start where he opens up to Arthur and Dutch interrupts the conversation. Dutch tells Arthur about a plan - an escape plan to New York, but again gets interrupted by Charles Smith and Eagle Flies.

arumap-minHead back to camp in Annesberg.

The cutscene continues where Eagles Flies says the colonel has taken their horses, mentions that his people have suffered enough and asks for help to retrieve the horses. Charles mentions that he will not risk his life over some horses but Dutch agrees to help - Arthur and Charles decide to join the crew to make sure the mission does not go out of hand.

Mount your horse and follow Eagle Flies to Port Van Horn. Listen in on the conversation and continue as you make your way to meet Paytah, Eagle Flies' friend - a short cutscene will trigger where the crew will find canoes are set up to infiltrate the army boat.

Free The Horses

After the short cutscene, follow Eagle Flies' canoe and paddle to the side of the boat so the gang can sneak in. Once aboard, Arthur (you) will be prompted to not kill anyone.

arustealth-minYou will need to equip your fists, sneak up behind the first soldier, and perform a Stealth Knockout.

Now, continue to your left where you will see another soldier near the horses, sneak up to him and perform a Stealth Knockout. As you move forward to the front of the boat, you will find a small group of soldiers playing poker. Eventually, you will be found and the only way to get rid of them is by gunfight - not to worry, the rest of the gang will also help.

After dealing with the guards, Arthur (you) will be prompted to locate the anchor and rig the dynamite to its gears - once the dynamite explodes, another cutscene will start.

Once you've regained control of Arthur, jump out of the boat, mount a horse and lead the remaining horses to shore - head to the yellow mark on your map. And once you've reached the destination, another cutscene will trigger that prompts the end of the mission. During the cutscene, Charles tries to convince Eagle Flies that war isn't the solution to the problem but still rides off with Dutch. Charles then asks Arthur (you) to speak with Rains Fall before it's too late.

arudecision-minYou will then face a choice to (A) Help Rains Fall or (B) Don't Help Rains Fall.

Choosing option (A) will help unlock a mission, Archeology for Beginners.

Choosing option (B) will let you walk away and continue with The Delights of Van Horn.
